Kristine Caswelch, soprano, grew up a chorister, making her choral debut singing Ein Deutsches Requiem as a nine-year-old. In Cleveland, she has sung as a Young Artist Apprentice with Apollo’s Fire, with Quire Cleveland, and with the Cleveland Chamber Choir. Ms. Caswelch is the Artistic Director and Co-Founder of Cleveland Transgender Choir, which is entering its third year. She is also a soloist and section leader for the choirs at Trinity Cathedral. She has appeared as a soloist for the Westminster Choir College Summer Festival, most recently in Monteverdi’s Vespers of 1610. In 2015, Ms. Caswelch walked El Camino de Santiago, singing for pilgrims and locals. She is a recent graduate of Baldwin Wallace University, where she studied singing and conducting, and currently lives in Lakewood. When not singing, she can be found knitting or reading.
