Ava Paul is a third-year student pursuing degrees in Vocal Performance and Political Science at Oberlin College and Conservatory. Recent roles include The Fox in Rachel Portman’s The Little Prince, Public Opinion in Offenbach’s Orpheus in the Underworld, and Chorus in Bernstein's Candide. Last winter, with the Obelin Conservatory Orchestra and Choir, Ava performed in Beethoven's Symphony No.9 for the United Nations General Assembly and Nathaniel Dett’s Ordering of Moses at Carnegie Hall. Ava is an inaugural cohort member of The Denyce Graves Foundation Shared Voices Program, and has spoken at Howard University and Peabody Conservatory about her passion for achieving diversity, equity, and inclusion across the music spectrum.
