
Lebanese-American soprano Alaina Saliba performs regularly throughout the Cleveland area, recently appearing with Cleveland Composers Guild, Cleveland Opera Theater, and in productions with the Cleveland Institute of Music as a graduate of their Master of Music program. She has been seen as Ilia (Idomeneo), Elvira (I Puritani), Violetta (La Traviata), Adina (L'Elisir d'Amore), Frasquita (Carmen), and Giulietta (I Capuleti e i Montecchi). A Dayton native and University of Dayton graduate, Alaina was a featured artist with the Opera Guild of Dayton’s Children’s Traveling Opera and Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra. She also performed in Dayton Opera’s Turandot as a Dayton Opera Apprentice. Ms. Saliba has earned first place honors at Ohio NATS and was a Young Artist with the CoOPERAtive program; the Opera Studio of the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria; and Cleveland’s Art Song Festival, where she and pianist Daniel Overly worked with Warren Jones, Craig Terry, Tamara Wilson and David Portillo. Ms. Saliba may be found teaching voice throughout the Cleveland area, in Lakewood City Schools, and on faculty at the Westlake Music Academy.
