FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR INTERESTED APPLICANTS
1. How do I request funding?
Go to https://tinyurl.com/CCCArtistRelief and fill out the form. It’s brief because we wanted to limit the number of barriers and restrictions. The only requirement is that you provide proof of SHARING this fundraiser with your networks.
2. How do I qualify for funds?
Anyone who is a performing musician can request funds; we would ask that you consider your need honestly – if this can make a difference, we want to help. We plan to fulfill every request with a flat US $100 on a first-come, first-served basis. We can not claim to make any judgement on who deserves funds and who has greater need. Very simply, if you ask for it, we’ll give it to you. The number of requests we are able to fulfill is contingent upon the amount of money we are able to raise.
3. What do I have to provide?
We’ve asked for some documentation to keep the honest people honest. We trust you. If you’re asking for help, we want to help you. We also want to make sure people don’t abuse this trust. Upload a resume or point us to your website to verify both that you are a performing musician and also that you are a resident of one of the qualifying counties. The only other requirement is that you SHARE this fundraiser by providing a simple screenshot of having done so. Your help in this matter is incredibly important to the success of the fundraiser.
4. Where does the money go?
Money donated through the Cleveland Chamber Choir website is marked as a donation to the More than Music Artist Relief Fund. It is separate from donations that CCC may receive for organizational support. From there it goes to a dedicated bank account that Cleveland Chamber Choir has access to for accountability and redundancy. As we receive funds there, CCC will manage redistribution to qualified applicants on a first-come, first-served basis.
5. Who can I talk to about partnering or if I have questions?
Email clevelandchamberchoir@gmail.com with questions and someone on the team will try to respond as quickly as possible.
